Brian has also enjoyed teaching Professional Development to students as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University’s Klein School of Media and Communications.
The curriculum is based on real life experiences, case studies from previous projects, business workflow and the behavioral patterns required to succeed in today's competitive production and entertainment industry. Brian is a Temple Alum and enjoys paying it forward for the next generation of film makers.
Early on during Brian's career, he forged meaningful relationships with musical artists that would enable him to tag along and tour Europe with bands like Night Ranger, perform on-stage with The Alarm, and work directly with Bono and U2 on several video projects.
Amidst these adventures, he rediscovered his passion for photography. But this time, he traded his bulky DSLR gear for something refreshingly simple: an iPhone. It didn't have the advanced features or crystal- clear optics of his Nikon, but it offered unparalleled flexibility. Capturing moments felt more organic, spontaneous, and rewarding. Best of all, the camera now fit in his pocket.
Concerts are a fusion of light, sound, and movement, a visual and auditory art form. Brian's 120 page Coffee Table book “Encore” was shot entirely on his iPhone without the use of any software enhancements and captures that raw synergy. It's his tribute to the musicians and technicians who bring each show to life, an encore through his own lens.
